RXA E/F Crimping Applicator

The RXA E/F rounds out AMT’s mechanical applicator lineup as the end-feed variant of the compact RXA series. It addresses production configurations where terminals must be fed from the strip end — a requirement dictated by certain crimping machine designs and terminal geometries that do not accommodate lateral feeding.

Like all RXA series units, the E/F model weighs 4.7 kg and operates at a 135 mm shut height, making it interchangeable in mounting position with the RXA S/F on compatible press equipment. The end-feed mechanism ensures reliable terminal advancement from reeled strips, with consistent pitch control that prevents misfeed errors during continuous operation.

The RXA E/F is particularly suitable for facilities operating multiple crimping stations that need to standardize on a single applicator platform across both feed orientations. By pairing RXA S/F and RXA E/F units on the same production floor, maintenance teams can share crimper sets and spare parts between machines, reducing inventory requirements while maintaining the quick-change capability and adjustable crimp load that characterize the entire AMT mechanical range.
