RXA S/F Crimping Applicator

The RXA S/F is AMT’s compact side-feed crimping applicator, part of the RXA series designed for production facilities that need reliable crimping performance in a lighter, space-efficient package. At 4.7 kg with a 135 mm shut height, the RXA S/F fits comfortably into benchtop presses and automated crimping machines where weight and vertical clearance are constraints.

The RXA series shares the same quick-change crimper set mechanism and adjustable crimp load controls found across AMT’s mechanical applicator range. This means production teams already familiar with AMT tooling can integrate the RXA S/F without retraining. The side-feed terminal delivery pulls from a lateral reel, maintaining the standard orientation expected by most crimp-and-strip machine setups.

Where the RXA S/F excels is in operations running moderate production volumes across multiple product lines. Its lighter build reduces operator fatigue during manual press setups, while the 30-40 mm stroke range handles the terminal sizes most common in home appliance wiring, control panel assemblies, and standard automotive harness applications.
